We all experience some comfort on the journey when not travelling alone. The comfort is even more remarkable when our company has been there and done that. We all need someone else to come alongside us to guide us into the destiny we sense deep within. Moses, sensing the magnitude of the challenges ahead, knew this and invited Hobab to come with him on the exodus from Egypt. Hobab knew the way and was accustomed to the wilderness.
Mentorship is about having a helper in our journey in life, love and leadership. To the mentor, it is an attempt to pass down the experience, wisdom and legacy to the next generation. It is indeed a noble endeavour, yet things often go dreadfully wrong. This book hopes to prevent some of these shipwrecks. It is an attempt to bare our hearts, from our unique perspectives, about the pitfalls of mentorship.
I wrote this book for the multi-gifted, multitalented and multipotentialite struggling to be effective and productive. In the quest to fulfil purpose, many multi-gifted individuals struggle with their many gifts and wonder how to navigate the multi gifted ‘curse’ or ‘blessing’.
In their bids, many have become the jack of all trade, master of none. I was there, and it wasn’t funny. I was praised by many people for my many gifts but for many years I was like that rocking chair, making motion but no progress; I was known for everything and nothing in particular.
In this book, I shared proven and effective tips and strategies to help you become effective and productive with your multi-talents. God was intentional about those gifts and talents He gave you but you have to learn how to effectively maximise them for impact, influence and income.
Crisis is a change. Everyone likes change but not everyone wants to change. A crisis is an unpalatable change, a kind of change that catches us off guard. We're often not ready for crisis but when it comes we have an important decision to make.
The world has been designed by God to make sure change is constant. I believe crisis, as with any change, was designed to grow us, to make us better, and not bitter. God creates or allows change so that we can improve. Crisis fosters growth and improvement. No one grows in comfortable times, we only grow in difficult and tough times.
The key to thriving through crisis or adversity is finding and discovering purpose in crisis. In the word of Viktor Frankl, "He who has a why to live can bear almost any how".
Purpose in Crisis was written to help you discover and find purpose in times of adversity, so you can not only bear it but thrive through it, grow through it and come out as fine gold. A knowledge of purpose in crisis, will make you better, and not bitter. When you know your purpose, crisis will not punish you, it will polish you.

In my generation, many people are frantically trying to become successful. This is because the pressure to become successful is higher than it has been in times past. In our world today, a lot of people flaunt their achievements and share their success stories which either inspire or intimidate those who listen to them. The competition to become successful is quite alarming.
However, I've come to realise the more you seek success, the more it eludes you. True success comes from actually serving others and becoming a person of value. The root cause of poverty is when people don't know the value you carry and as a result don't know what to come to you for.
Every man carries value but for you to deliver that value to the world, you first have to know you carry value, believe you carry value and learn the secrets to administering the value to the world.
The world needs what you carry. There is no one else like you in the world. Your uniqueness is value, your personality is value, your story is gold but you have to learn how to dispense this value so that you can serve your world in meaningful and fulfilling ways.
I've shared those secrets with you in this book that I hope will transform your life forever. When you become a person of value, you become a force to reckon with in your generation and for generations to come.
I believe in you.

The greatest loss in life is the loss of potential. When someone dies without maximising their potentials, we call such a loss to our generation and to the world. I am a firm believer in the fact that nothing should die until its purpose has been fulfilled.
In other words, death before the completion of purpose is murder because it denies people the opportunity to fulfil their God-given purpose and potentials here on earth. Many lives are lost daily to suicide. The WHO suggests that suicide is among the second leading cause of death amongst 15-29 year olds globally.
In New Zealand, my second home, every 67 hours, a young person commits suicide. That is more than one person every three days and about 130 young people a year. At least one in 20 New Zealand high school students attempt suicide each year.
Since I got to New Zealand over a decade ago, I have contemplated what I could do to help in the bid to reduce the rate of suicide in New Zealand, Nigeria and all over the world. As a motivational speaker and author, I believe I can use my reach and platforms to address this agonising epidemic.
This book is one of my several attempts to kick out suicide in our world. In it, I have compiled 30 reasons why people should stay alive and not commit suicide into a book. I do hope you find some inspiration and hope in the pages of this book.
And if you do, do me a favour, pass it on or recommend to others. Let’s get this book to the hands of every living soul. Let’s save more lives together.
